South African Nationals are now eligible to obtain a visa on arrival with effect 1st April 2022.

Effective 1st April 2022, South African Nationals seeking to visit Egypt are now permitted to obtain a visa on arrival at all Egyptian ports.

The Visa on arrival allows travellers who hold a South African passport valid for a period of 6 months from the date of entry, to obtain a single entry tourist visa that permits the holder to travel freely within the county for a maximum stay of up to 30 days.
